Is Pob back?

Has anyone else noticed the similarity between the new Education Minister, Michael Gove MP and Pob, from the children’s TV programme of the 80s: Pob’s Programme. Do we know what Michael Gove was doing in the late 80s? Is Pob now serving in the UK Government under a new name? Are there any other puppets in parliament?
